FIELD DAY QUALIFIER EXAM

The Field Day Qualifier Exam costs $20.00, payable by a valid credit card. This payment will be collected regardless of whether you pass or fail. If you fail and decide to take the exam again, you will be charged another $20.00. Therefore, if you have not yet successfully passed the Practice Test, you should do so now to make sure you know the material.

If you are ready, you may wish to print out this page showing the exam steps:

  1. Enter your name and birth date below exactly as it should appear on your certification. You must be at least 12 years of age to take the exam. Read the requirements and indicate you agree. Then, click the PROCEED TO EXAM button.
  2. You will be given a 75-question exam. You must complete the exam in one session, working entirely on your own. You can't save a partially answered exam and come back and finish it later. Before submitting your exam, review your answers and make sure you are still connected to the Internet. Then, click the COMPLETED—PROCEED button.
  3. Next, fill out your personal data form and pay the $20.00 exam fee. Your information will be encrypted and securely transferred. After you've entered your data, click the SUBMIT button. Do not click this button more than once.
  4. Next, double-check your personal and credit card information. If there are errors, click the EDIT MY INFORMATION button. Do not use your browser's BACK button to return to the data form.
  5. Your exam will now be graded and you will be given your grade online. If you pass by scoring 80% or greater, you will be allowed to print out your Michigan Field Day Qualifier Exam Certificate, approved by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
