Welcome to the official online bowhunter safety course of the National Bowhunter Education Foundation and the Nevada Department of Wildlife.

This bowhunter education course, has been developed in conjunction with the NBEF and the Nevada DOW.

When you pass, immediately print out your official Nevada Field Day Qualifier Certificate. This certificate will serve as your admittance ticket to the Field Day.

Completing this course will prepare you for the Nevada DOW Field Day, the second component of the Bowhunter Education curriculum.

Nevada Bowhunter Education Requirements

  • There are no special education requirements for bowhunters in Nevada.
  • All hunters born after January 1, 1960, are required to provide proof of Hunter Education, in order to purchase a Nevada hunting license.
  • After passing the online course, students must attend a Field Day provided by the NDOW in order to complete the certification process.
