You must pass both the online and Bowhunter Education Field Course portions of the Bowhunter education course in order to complete the Wyoming Bowhunter education requirements.

Locating and Signing Up for the Bowhunter Education Field Course
After passing the online portion of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Bowhunter education course, you will need to locate and sign up for the required Bowhunter Education Field Course.
Locate and sign up for the Bowhunter Education Field Course in your area.
Important! Bring your Field Day Qualifier Exam Certificate to the Bowhunter Education Field Course as proof of having completed the online course.
Warning! Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the Bowhunter Education Field Course.
What to Expect at the Bowhunter Education Field Course
This is 4–6 hours, depending on the number of students attending and will include:
- A classroom session
- Outdoor shooting
- Blood trailing
- Demonstrations of tree stand safety
- Survival skills
Most of the classroom topics will pertain to Wyoming-specific regulations and issues that are not covered in this online course. Be sure to have proper clothing for the outdoor sessions.
After attending and passing the Bowhunter Education Field Course portion of the Bowhunter education requirement, you will receive your Wyoming Archery Safety Card.
