Bowhunter safety courses prevent accidents and save lives.

We’ve worked with NBEF, and IHEA-USA, and many state agencies responsible for bowhunter education to develop comprehensive online bowhunter’s safety courses that teach students important laws and regulations, game identification, and safe, responsible handling of archery equipment.

Bowhunting is a safe activity, and with the availability of bowhunting safety education, it is growing safer all the time. Over the last 50 years hunting related injury rates have decreased dramatically, even as populations of deer, wild turkey, elk, geese, and other species of game have risen to record numbers.

What bowhunters are saying about our online education course

“You just made it possible for a great young man to get to go hunting. We really appreciate you doing this. I realize that your office is not really a customer service office but this is better help than a person can expect in this day and age.”

“I have hunted since I was 10 years old and I am now 45 and I am even relearning stuff I had forgotten. You have set the bar high for other states to follow.”

All Bowhunter Ed safety education resources and bowhunter’s safety courses have been developed in conjunction with the state hunting safety agencies responsible for bowhunter education and are approved by the National Bowhunter Education Foundation and International Hunter Education Association.

Through comprehensive instructional content and illustrations, and interactive learning exercises and games, students learn about different types of bows and arrows, shooting fundamentals, and wildlife laws while completing a Bowhunter Ed state-approved safety course.

While our bowhunter education courses enable safer hunting, they also help bowhunters be more successful in their hunts and emphasize ethical hunting behavior. Subjects include bowhunter responsibility, wildlife identification and management, game care, outdoor survival, and more.
