Course Outline

Iowa residents 16 through 64 years of age, and all non-residents regardless of age, must pay the Wildlife Habitat Fee to hunt if they are required to have a Hunting License.

All non-residents must pay the Wildlife Habitat Fee to hunt deer and turkey.

Exemptions

Iowa residents, non-residents, and their children are not required to have a Hunting License if they are hunting on land that they own or lease for agricultural purposes.

Iowa residents who have a disabled veteran Lifetime Hunting License are exempt from paying the Wildlife Habitat Fee.
